Volume 1, Act 2 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vol. 1 -Act 2 Sailor Mercury ------------------------------------------ (Dark Kingdom- stone pillars line the dark castle of the Dark Kingdom underneath the surface of earth. Queen Beryl is sitting in her throne) Beryl: You still haven't found the ginzuishou? Jedite: No, my queen, forgive me. Beryl: The great and powerful leader we serve is getting restless. Gather energy and find the ginzuishou!! Jedite: Yes, my queen, leave it to me, Dark Kingdom's general Jedite. (At Tsukino's residence) Usagi: Mom, I'm home!! (Luna follows Usagi in the house) Usagi's Mom: Hi Dear! Oh, hi bald Kitty. EEEEEeeeeee! (Luna scratches Usagi's Mom's face) Usagi: I told you not to call her Bald Kitty. She isn't happy about that. (Usagi's room) Usagi: I'm so hungry. (Luna enters, and Usagi stares at Luna crossly. It was Luna who got her into the mess of being a female warrior) Usagi: Luna, you just want to freeload in my house right? And guard every each move I make. Luna (mad): What?! You just turned into Sailor Moon, and I have many things to teach you!! That's my I'm staying with you!! (Usagi remembers yesterday's fight with the monster) Usagi: Eeeeeek! I don't ever want to do _that_ again! Usagi: Besides, who is our enemy anyways? Luna: They are not human, you probably noticed that too. But the important thing is that they must not exist in this world. We have to find the other warriors and find the princess! Usagi: Fellow warriors and a princess? (she thinks of Tuxedo Kamen) Usagi: I know! What about Tuxedo Kamen and Sailor V!! They'd make swell warriors! Luna:The warriors have already been selected. (Usagi goes to sleep and Luna is at the arcade or Central Command. She is checking out a girl. Her name is Mizuno Ami, Age: 14, Birthday: September 10, Bloodtype: A) (next day at school, people are talking about the new girl. She has the top score in the exam) person #1: Did you see who scored first place? Person #2: Mizuno Ami person#3:she has the top score on all topics. I even heard that she has an IQ of 300. person#1: she can't be human! Usagi: Wow! A genius girl! Naru: Hi Usagi-chan, you're not late today. Umino:Did you hear about the new Crystal Cram School? friend#1: That school for elite kids? Umino :Mizuno Ami goes there. Usagi: Crystal Cram School? It's the one next to the arcade. I heard from my Dad that it's very expensive. Umino: Mizuno Ami's mom is a doctor. Naru: She's smart, and rich-. friend#1: But snobby. She doesn't have any friends. All she does is study. (end of school, and Usagi's looking at her scores on the test) Usagi: My mom's going to kill me with these scores. (Usagi imagines her mom yelling at her : "Usagi, you better go to that Cram School!") (Depressed, and walking home, she spots Mizuno Ami. Luna jumps on Mizuno Ami's head) Ami: You surprised me, Kitty! Usagi (thinking): Luna? What's she doing? Ami: I wish I had a nice Kitty like you. You're so soft. (Luna sees Usagi and jumps on her) Usagi: Luna! Im sorry if she bothered you. Ami: I thought that the cat was an angel when it jumped down from the sky. Usagi: An angel? (Mizuno Ami blushes, embarrassed) Usagi: You're Mizuno Ami right? I'm Tsukino Usagi. And my cat's name is Luna. (A devil's spiked tail shoots up from Usagi. She is thinking that she could get help from Mizuno Ami and become smart herself. Meanwhile, Luna runs off) Usagi: Ami, you've never been to an arcade?Let's go. (Usagi is playing the Sailor V game in the arcade while Mizuno Ami watches on) Usagi: This game is hard... (Mizuno Ami analyzes the game) Usagi: I'm out of coins!! (Mizuno Ami smiles) Usagi: Mizuno Ami, you want to play? (Ami plays... very well. A crowd begins to gather around Ami. She ranks number one in the score ranking) person#1: Number one?! I don't believe it! Motoki (* the guy that works in the arcade gawks): That's unreal! (something rolls out of the game machine. It's a pen) Mizuno Ami: Oh, it's a prize. Usagi: I want one too! (Usagi pounds on the game machine) Usagi: Can't you give at least one more, you stupid machine?! (another pen rolls out) Usagi: Look, I got one too!!Isn't it pretty? Mizuno Ami:That was fun, Tsukino Usagi. (Motoki can't believe where that pen came from) Usagi: You can call me Usagi and I'll call you Ami. Neh? Ami: okay. (Ami looks at the clock) Ami: I'm late for my cram school. Usagi: You attend that Crystal cram school? Ami: Yes, every day. Usagi (big sweatdrop): EVERY DAY?!! Ami: I don't have anything else to do, but study. And I want to become a doctor like my mom. Usagi(impressed): Wow, a doctor? (At Crystal Cram School, everybody is working on computers. Ami too) (the instructor comes up to her) instructor: Ami, we are all counting on you. Excellent students like you will be the future leaders of the world. You are also everybody's goal so you must work harder. Ami: I will. (at school the next day. Usagi and her friends are undressing after PE) Naru: you guys want to go for ice creams after school? Usagi: I do. Usagi's other friend: So do I! (one of Usagi's friends turns away) Naru: She's going to the Crystal Cram School too. Everybody's going to that place. Usagi: Is it that good? Naru: Oh yeah. They teach with computers and disks. The stuff in the disk is so fun, that kids use it like crazy. I want to see what's in that disk. Usagi: disk? (in the classroom, Ami is working on the computer. Working with the computer is discouraging. Giving up, Ami uses her notebook and pen to study.) Ami (thinking): I'd rather study with a pen and a pencil. (Usagi comes into the classroom) Usagi: Hey Ami, you're here! Are you studying? (sees that Ami is using the pen she got from the arcade) Usagi: You're using that pen too? So am I. (Usagi points to her pen that is clipped to her breastpocket) (some people that are exiting the classroom bump into Usagi. They seem to be in a zombie-like state) person#1: I have to go to that Cram school. person#2: Me too. (Ami remembers what the instructor of the cram school had told her : " You are everybody's goal, so you must work harder") Ami: I have to go too... to Crystal Cram School. (Ami leaves, and Usagi is perplexed) (Luna comes to Usagi) Usagi: I'm worried about Ami. All she does is study, and she's getting thinner. Usagi: Huh? What's this? (Usagi sees a diskette) It must be Ami-chan's. (meanwhile the instructor of the cram school is passing out flyers advertising Crystal Cram School to other kids) instructor: enroll now.(she gives one to Usagi) You too. Usagi (reading aloud the advertisement for Crystal Cram School) : New invention. You can become a genius by using out Crystal disk. Hey, that's Ami! (Usagi points to Ami's picture on the flyer) Luna: Why don't you try going to this school? Usagi: Of course not. (She crumples up the paper and throws it. And it lands on *guess who* Mamoru) Mamoru: Hey odango-atama. My head is not a trashcan! Usagi: It's you! that guy who... Mamoru: Your cat... She talked a moment ago. Usagi (BIG sweatdrop): No, ah, thank you... bye bye. (the instructor of the Crystal School gives Mamoru a flyer too) instructor: here, you too. (meanwhile, Luna and Usagi are in the computer room of her school) Luna: the disk Ami left behind, it's the diskette from Crystal School. It sounds really suspicious,we should check it out. (Luna inserts the disk, and nothing comes out.) Usagi: This is the school's curriculum? But there's nothing on the disk! (Usagi pounds on the computer. ) Usagi: Is this s fraud or something? Luna: Usagi, you'll break the computer!! (Suddenly, a voice comes from the computer) computer: Sacrifice your energy to the great conqueror of the Dark Kingdom! Become our warriors of the night! Bring us the ginzuishou!!! Luna: This is a mind control disk from the enemy!! (Mamoru is also watching from outside) computer: bring us the ginzuishou!! (Usagi sees people going to the crystal Cram School) Usagi: LUNA!! Look, those people are going to the Crystal Cram School! (she sees Ami) Usagi: Ami, is she brainwashed too? I've gotta rescue her! Luna: Usagi, your pen! That pen from the arcade- throw it up in the air and shout "Disguise Power!" Usagi: HUH! You can use this pen to disguise yourself? Luna: Hurry up! Usagi: Disguise power!! (Usagi disguises herself into a nurse) Usagi: Hey, look! I'm a nurse! Luna: Hurry up, Usagi. (Usagi and Luna race to the Crystal School) (Usagi pushes her way into the Crystal School class.) Usagi: I got a report that there was an emergency! Coming through! (Usagi sees Ami. Ami is about to faint) Usagi: Ami! you can't be brainwashed!! Wake-up!! Look at me!! instructor of the school (laughing) : this diskette also drains energy. And using this genius girl's brain, we can easily take over Tokyo, no the entire country of Japan!!! (Usagi slams into the room) Usagi: Everybody, get off of the computer!! You'll become brainwashed!! instructor: Who is it?! Luna: transform, Usagi! Usagi: Wha... WHAT?! Luna: You can't fight in that form. Usagi: But do I have to fight? Usagi: Moon Prism Power! Make-up!!! (Usagi is Sailor Moon) SM:How dare you try to brainwash innocent students!! (the instructor, who is also a Dark Kingdom monster starts throwing sharp paper at Sailor Moon) (Usagi uses her feather pins as darts to pin the papers to the wall) SM: I am the fighter of Love and Justice, Sailor Moon!! And on behalf of the Moon, I will punish you!! (the monster keeps throwing sharp papers) SM: OWWWWW!!! Stop it! the papers are like sharp razor knives! I'm hurt all over the place!! I don't want to study or take tests any more!!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!! (glass breaks) Luna: If you keep crying like that, then you'll never rescue Ami, Sailor Moon!! Usagi: Oh Yeah, Ami!! (the monster is trying to strangle Ami) monster: how come you didn't get brainwashed? You didn't study with that diskette did you?! Ami: I can't breath! I studied, but not with that diskette!! Studying is something you have to do on your own!! (Luna realizes that Ami is one of the warriors) Luna: Ami, you pen!! Throw it in the air ! (the monster is about to kill Ami with her claws) monster: DIE!! (suddenly, light envelopes them) monster: what is this? I'm so col~~d. SM: It's fog! Where are you? I can't see anything, Luna! (the monster sees Sailor Moon and approaches her) Monster(thinking): there you are... You will now taste pain... (Tuxedo Kamen comes up behind Sailor Moon and wraps his arms around her) Tuxedo Kamen: Kick her, NOW!! SM: Huh? Okay.. Sailor Moon KICK!! (the monster is flung back. Tuxedo Kamen lifts Sailor Moon and for a moment their eyes meet) SM (thinking): We meet again... (Tuxedo Kamen puts Sailor Moon down) Tuxedo Kamen: Rescue your friend, Sailor Moon. (the monster is gearing for another attack) SM: Moon Tiara ACTION!! (the tiara spins and cuts the monster in half. It is moon-dusted) Sm: Tuxedo Kamen? He's gone.... Luna: Sailor Moon. SM: Luna, where's Ami? (the fog lifts, and figure is visible) SM: Ami-chan?! (Ami is in a Sailor fuku just as Sailor Moon is) SM: You.. you are... Luna: I was right! Ami is one of us! the spirit of water and the warrior of planet Mercury. Luna:Sailor Mercury, we were looking for you. You are a warrior, just as Sailor Moon is. SMercury: Me? A warrior? SM: Ami is a part of us? This is better than I thought!
